ANDREW WHITE

Since graduating from the Slade School of Art in 1991 Andrew has exhibited work throughout Britain to great critical acclaim. Whether drawing, sculpting, painting or printmaking, Andrew's contribution to the art world is both diverse and extraordinarily rich. Andrew is as equally skilled in creating striking still lifes as he is at capturing the movement of a ballerina or a street scene in Spain.  Influenced by the Old Masters and Victorian painters such as J.W. Waterhouse and D.G. Rossetti, Andrew combines his own style with the techniques of these past craftsmen. Working to re-establish confidence in traditional painting, his work conveys an aura and a haunting atmosphere that bring reflections of the past into the present.

In 2012 Andrew set out to create his own monumental version of The Last Supper. This exceptional, life-size work of art has won him a new round of admirers and cemented his reputation as one of the most talented artists working in Britain today.

Andrew is also a prominent and respected portrait painter and lives in Lincolnshire with his wife and two sons.
